Welcome to SaysDave.com, one man’s critique of the culture and face of our world, as I perceive it. The idea for this blog came during a family dinner last week. The four of us waited almost a half hour in an upscale restaurant in Columbia, Maryland for a server to visit our table. There were three servers working, and about a half dozen tables were occupied.
My oldest daughter suggested that I start publishing my critiques of restaurants that we visit, and I broadened her suggestion to include publishing about everything that I critique.
This is my first step.
BTW, the restaurant with the poor service is Copeland’s, and we’ll never return.

Copeland’s is good, sometimes. It’s really hit or miss; it’s either really good, or just lousy.

Hey, Dave! Nice idea. I’d like to suggest some other places you could rate. “That’s Amore” at the Mall. “Zapata’s Mexican Cuisine” at Harper’s Choice V.C., “Charter Deli” on Hickory Ridge Rd., “Old Hickory Grill” and “Cuba de Ayer”, both on Rt. 198 in Burtonsville.

Dave, I enjoy your critiques of the businesses around the Baltimore area. I’m now living in TN but I worked for a large government agency in that area while I was attending college [at age 43] and still have fond memories of the area.
Also enjoy your e-mail; short and to the point.
