I asked the repairmen from No-Frost A/C & Heating to come to the house this morning to repair a problem with my furnace, and true to form, they were efficient and reasonable in their repairs.
I’ve asked No-Frost A/C & Heating to come to the house a few times, in the past few years, and each time their repairmen have been able to quickly repair my home’s air conditioning and heating system.
Today, they repaired a problem that I caused while tinkering with my furnace. The water drain for my Aprilaire humidifer broke and dripped water. The water seeped into the furnace’s micro-screen filter, soaking into the folds of paper. While removing the standing water, I left a piece of paper towel in the air duct, which later was sucked into the blower. This caused a rumbling noise, and I thought I had caused a serious problem, not realizing that I had left a piece of paper behind when I was soaking up the last few puddles of water.
The repairmen quickly diagnosed the problem, removed the offending paper towel, and put my furnace back into proper condition. While they were here, they repaired the broken water drain and replaced the water filter.
I was embarassed for having made such a simple error, and No-Frost team were polite, and didn’t make any comments.
